Spanish PM's party admits defeat after heavy losses

Spain's Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero has conceded defeat following heavy losses in regional elections, in what has been seen as punishment for his government's handling of the economy, and the country's high unemployment rate.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators gathered again on Sunday, at city squares all over Spain, protesting against the government's austerity measures.
