Flying missions to Libya from France's aircraft carrier

France has been at the forefront of recent military action in Libya and its flagship vessel, the Charles de Gaulle, is currently positioned as an assault ship.

The aircraft carrier, loaded with helicopters and jets, is stationed off the Libyan coast.

One of the pilots, Louis, gave an insight into one of his sorties.
