Fifa election should not be postponed, says Jerome Valcke

Fifa's ethics committee says that current president, Sepp Blatter, will not face any action in a corruption probe, so he can stand, unopposed, for re-election on Wednesday.

Jerome Valcke, Fifa secretary general, told reporters the election should not be delayed.

The world governing body of football has suspended two of its vice presidents as part of an investigation into bribery claims.

Jack Warner and Mohamed Bin Hammam have been banned from all football activity while the inquiry takes place.
