Mladic in UN custody in The Hague awaiting war crimes trial

The former Bosnian Serb General, Ratko Mladic, is in UN custody at a detention centre in the Netherlands where he will await trial on charges of war crimes and genocide.

He arrived at The Hague after being extradited from Serbia where his appeal on grounds of ill health was turned down.
