'They wanted to do this' - Norway bereaved visit Utoeya island

Relatives of the Norwegians killed by a gunman last month have been visiting Utoeya island, the scene of the killings.

Psychologist Atle Dyregrov said there were ''many reasons'' it was important for the families to go.

The Norwegian Health Minister, Anne-Grete Stroem-Erichsen, told reporters help was on hand for the bereaved if they needed it.

The visit came as police were granted a request to keep the man who admitted to the killings, Anders Behring Breivik, in solitary confinement.
