Young Spain a 'lost generation'

Unemployment in Spain is twice the average for the rest of the EU, with young people particularly badly affected - and in the southern Spanish region of Andalucia, more than half are out of work.

The centre-right Popular Party had a resounding victory in the general election, partly because of a pledge to make the creation of jobs a priority - but with a slow economy it is unclear how this can be done.
