Macedonia Holocaust survivor: 'I escaped with the resistance'
The Macedonian capital, Skopje, has recently inaugurated a new Holocaust Memorial museum - only the fourth in the world after Washington, Jerusalem and Berlin.
Macedonia lost the highest proportion of its Jews of any country in the world - 98% of them murdered in the Holocaust.
Jamila Kolonomos, now 89, lost almost 20 members of her family in the Treblinka concentration camp.
Mrs Kolonomos only survived by joining the Communist resistance force led by General Tito.
She spoke to BBC News about the day in March 1943 when the deportations began.
