Russian student: I'm tired of lies and falsehoods

Thousands of people have attended mass anti-government rallies in Russia, to voice their concerns over allegations of ballot-rigging in the country's recent parliamentary elections.

As many as 50,000 people gathered in the capital Moscow, with smaller rallies held in other cities.

The BBC's Richard Galpin spoke to Danil Klubov, a student, who said he joined the protesters in St Petersburg because he was "tired of all the falsehoods and lies".

Mr Klubov also said that many of those who took to the streets wanted President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to stand down.
