Sarkozy 'fully committed' to bank transaction tax

France's President Nicolas Sarkozy has been holding eurozone crisis talks in Berlin with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, amid gloomy economic prospects for 2012.

One of the issues on the agenda was the idea of a transaction tax for financial institutions, a move President Sarkozy said he was fully committed to.
