Salvage operation of shipwreck cruise ship to begin

The operation to salvage the shipwreck of the Costa Concordia, which is lying off the Italian coast, is expected to get underway later. The rescue operation continues though it is thought unlikely that any more survivors will be found on the wreck of the luxury ship.

This, as a recording of a heated conversation between the Captain of the ship and the Italian Coastguard soon after the vessel ran aground has been released.
