Cold spell claims more than 20 lives in Ukraine

Heavy snow and freezing temperatures in Europe have claimed more lives in Ukraine than in any other country.

In two days more than 20 people are believed to have died from hypothermia.

The government is trying to alleviate the situation by setting up heated shelters for people seeking relief from the harsh weather.

BBC Ukrainian's Daria Taradai reports.
