Greece economic crisis pushes city dwellers to countryside

The long-lasting economic crisis in Greece is forcing people like Dimitrios Psiomiadis to abandon cities in favour of the countryside.

The electrician and his family swapped Thessaloniki for a plot of land in the small village his family is originally from.

According to a survey by the Greek Agriculture Ministry, almost 70% of Athens and Thessaloniki residents are considering the idea.
