Hollande: 'France has chosen change'
Socialist Francois Hollande has said that he is aware of the demands he will face as France's new president and vowed to serve his country with devotion.
"French people, on the 6th of May, have chosen change", he told jubilant supporters in Tulle.
Mr Hollande got about 52% of votes in Sunday's run-off, according to early projections, against 48% for centre-right incumbent Nicolas Sarkozy.
