Basque refugee children recount experience 75 years later
The Spanish Civil War started on 18 July 1936 with a military coup launched by General Francisco Franco against the Republican regime.
Less than a year later, on 21 May 1937, nearly 4,000 children from the Basque country, in northern Spain, left the port of Santurce, near Bilbao, as refugees headed for Southampton.
Some of them told to BBC Mundo about their experience 75 years later.
