Sicily honours murdered anti-Mafia campaigner, 60 years on

After campaigning by family and relatives, union leader Placido Rizzotto is to be honoured over 60 years after he was killed in Corleone by the Mafia.

Rizzotto had sided with local farm labourers in a confrontation with the Mafiosi and was murdered in March 1948. After decades of campaigning by his family he is to be given a state funeral.
