Radovan Karadzic acquitted of one genocide count

The Bosnian Serb war crimes suspect Radovan Karadzic has been acquitted of one of two genocide counts he faces.

Judges at the Yugoslav war crimes tribunal said prosecutors did not provide enough evidence to support the genocide count covering mass killings of Muslims and Croats by Serb forces.

But judges refused to dismiss 10 other charges, including one genocide count relating to Karadzic's alleged involvement in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre.
