Irish abortion inquiry: Savita Halappanavar's husband on wife's death

The family of a woman who died in Ireland, after reportedly being refused an abortion, has said they will not co-operate with an inquiry into her death.

The husband of Savita Halappanavar told Irish broadcaster RTE that the inquiry would not be independent and called for a full public inquiry.

The 31-year-old died five days after a miscarriage. The family say if she'd been allowed an abortion she would still be alive.
