Algeria crisis: British hostages 'relieved' to be free

A number of British citizens who were caught up in the Algerian gas facility siege have spoken of their relief at being freed.

Algerian TV, which conducted the interviews, also showed the first pictures of the freed Algerian and foreign hostages, who are reportedly being looked after at In Amenas hospital.

About 650 hostages have been freed from militants at the BP facility but about 60 foreigners are still being held, according to state media reports.

At least four foreign workers died when troops moved in on Thursday.
