Vatican may bring forward conclave for next pope

The Vatican has said it could bring forward the conclave for electing a new pope.

It had been expected that cardinals would begin the process at some point after 15 March.

But now the Vatican is considering re-writing its own rules to speed up the process.

Previously it had been adamant that the conclave of cardinals would not be gathering any earlier.

David Willey reports from Rome.
