Italy election: Businesses hope for financial stability

Financial markets have been hit by the news that Italian elections have ended in a stalemate.

The new administration in Italy will inherit an economy that has endured 14 years of near-zero growth and well over a year of austerity.

Businesses in Italy are hoping that the next government will be able to kick-start the jobs market and encourage growth.
