Horsemeat was mixed with beef, says Dutch processing plant

A lawyer, representing the owner of the Dutch meat processing plant accused of fraudulently selling horsemeat as beef, has told the BBC his client did mix horse with beef, but only when dealing with specific orders to combine the two products.

The owner Willy Selten, whose company is now under investigation, will appear in court next week in an attempt to rescue his business.
