Sarajevo hosts its first ever halal food fair

Food lovers and businessmen have been attending Sarajevo's first ever halal food fair.

The three-day event was organised in response to a rise in demand for halal food products in the wider Balkans region and beyond in recent years.

According to the World Halal Forum, in 2009 the global halal food market was estimated to be worth around $635bn (£420bn; 490bn euros) - and has been growing ever since.
