How will protests affect Turkey's image?

Public sector workers in Turkey are set to start a 2 day strike to support the continuing anti-government protests in a number of cities.

Meanwhile, on Monday Istanbul's stock market plunged more than 10 percent and the currency also fell.

Investors are worried about the impact the protests will have on business.

Bulent Alireza is the Director of the Turkey Project at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies in Washington. He says the protests may affect the way Turkey is viewed by the international community.
