Costa Concordia: The view from Giglio

The Costa Concordia cruise liner ran aground off Italy with the loss of 32 lives.

The ship crashed into the island of Giglio off Tuscany in January 2012 before tipping onto its side.

A major operation is planned to refloat the vessel and take it away to be broken up - an operation that has never before been attempted on this scale.

But for the time being, the Costa Concordia remains in Giglio's waters.

The BBC's Alan Johnston spoke to locals and tourists on the island.
