Costa Concordia salvage operation under way

One of the biggest salvage operations ever attempted is under way off the coast of Italy.

Almost a year after the Costa Concordia sank off the coast of Tuscany killing 32 people on board, engineers are trying to raise the cruise ship.

They are aiming to roll the vessel on to its keel and then re-float it so it can be towed away and scrapped.

Matthew Price reports.
