Lampedusa mayor on boat sinking: 'We need to stop this'

The mayor of Lampedusa has said more needs to be done to address the issue of African migrants trying to reach the Italian island, after a boat sank claiming at least 130 lives.

More than 150 people were rescued but many more are missing, according to Italian officials.

Speaking about the incident, Giusi Nicolini said: "These bodies are all speaking. We need to stop this."
