'Sweden will remain open to migrants' - migration minister Tobias Billstrom
As Syria's refugee crisis continues to intensify, Sweden has now taken in more asylum seekers from Syria than any other country in Europe.
There has been a huge influx since the Swedish authorities announced, at the beginning of September, that anyone arriving from Syria would be given the permanent right to remain.
More than 12,000 people have applied for permanent residency since the new policy was introduced.
