'Parents' of Greek Roma girl Maria give DNA to police

Police have questioned a Bulgarian couple as part of their investigation to find the biological parents of Maria, a young girl found in a Roma community in Greece.

DNA tests have been carried out of the couple, named by Bulgarian media as Sasha Ruseva and Atanas Rusev, from the central town of Nikolaevo.

A woman believed to be Ms Ruseva admitted on Bulgarian TV to giving up a baby girl in Greece four years ago, but she denied reports she had received any payment.
