Russia denies G20 spying claims

President Putin's spokesman has denied that Russia spied on delegates at the G20 summit in St Petersburg in September.

Dmitri Peskov said Italian newspaper reports that Russia had handed out USB sticks with bugs implanted in them were wrong.

He said the claims were an attempt to shift international attention from allegations of the US spying on its European allies.
