Ukraine: Massive pro-EU rally grips Kiev

At least 100,000 Ukranians have gathered in the centre of Kiev to protest against the Ukrainian government's decision to refuse an association deal with the EU.

At the same time as anti-government demonstrators filled Independence Square and the surrounding streets, a smaller rally in support of President Yanukovich was being held.
