French soldiers killed in Central African Republic

French President Francois Hollande has arrived in the Central African Republic after two French soldiers were killed in combat in the country's capital, Bangui.

The president said he was moved by the deaths and he vowed to continue the "necessary" and "dangerous" mission in the CAR.

France deployed 1,600 soldiers to the CAR last week in a UN-backed operation.
