Moscow residents react to news of Khodorkovsky pardon

Former tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky is due to be released from jail following a pardon from Russian President Vladimir Putin, officials say.

Khodorkovsky - in custody for a decade - was jailed for tax evasion and theft after funding opposition parties.

Critics of President Putin saw it as a political trial, a consequence of challenging his unwritten rule that oligarchs should stay out of politics.

People on the streets of Moscow gave their reaction to the news.
