Eugenia Tymoshenko: Ukraine opposition want 'peaceful' end

Anti-government protests in Ukraine are continuing after opposition leader Arseniy Yatsenyuk rejected President Yanukovych's offer to appoint him prime minister among other concessions.

He said key demands must be met, including new elections. A vote is not due until 2015.

Eugenia Tymoshenko, daughter of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, has told BBC Radio 4's Today programme that the opposition still want a "peaceful, legitimate outcome" to the current unrest.

She added that her mother believes the government has not left protesters "any choice than to fight... for our freedom".
