The BBC's Matthew Price demonstrates the stark difference between conditions inside the "protest zone" in Kiev and the rest of the city, where life continues as normal.

Protesters in Ukraine have rejected the terms of a new amnesty law aimed at ending the country's unrest and there is little sign of them moving out of the "entrenched" camp in the centre of the capital.

However, just beyond the barricades, people continue with their daily lives.
