Europe floods: What can we learn from the Dutch?

As much of Europe battles floods from excess rain and rising tides, one country has developed a sophisticated network of dams to cope with the problem.

Huge parts of the Netherlands lie below sea level but the country has become adept at finding new ways to defend the land from the threat posed by excess water.
