Conchita Wurst sings in her native Austria

Drag artist Conchita Wurst has performed her winning Eurovision Song Contest number, Rise Like a Phoenix, before large crowds in her native Austria.

Earlier, Austria Chancellor Werner Faymann welcomed the singer to his office in Vienna, praising her as a symbol for "tolerance, love and joy of life". Conchita dedicated her victory to the people who believed in "a future with progress".
