Europe elections: Italy's Renzi scores pro-Europe victory

Italy's centre-left Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has won a substantial victory in the European elections - one of the few positive results for pro-European parties.

His Democratic Party won 40% of the vote, fending off ex-comic Beppe Grillo's anti-establishment Five Star with 22%, and ex-PM Silvio Berlusconi's Forza Italia with 16%.
