Afghan migrant in Calais said he will try again to reach the UK
Among the migrants trying to get to the UK from the French port city of Calais is the man who made headlines earlier this month, when he set sail on an improvised raft to try to cross the Channel.
He was eventually picked up by a French lifeboat. Asif says he left Afghanistan 14 years ago, and he will not stop trying to get to the UK.
BBC Afghan's Bashir Bakhtyar met Asif a few days before the French police evicted hundreds of migrants from several illegal camps outside Calais.
