The challenge of keeping Denmark's Muslims out of Syria

Governments across Europe have become concerned about the numbers of young Muslims being radicalised and travelling to wage jihad in Syria.

In Denmark, the authorities have launched a programme specifically aimed at preventing young Danish Muslims from travelling to Syria and at rehabilitating them when they return.

Syria's bloody conflict, thousands of miles away, has put the relationship between Danish Muslims and their country under the spotlight.
