Ukraine crisis: Border guards' camp attacked in Luhansk

Hundreds of separatists in eastern Ukraine have mounted an assault on a border post near the city of Luhansk, the country's border agency says.

It says five militants were killed and eight wounded when the camp came under sustained attack. Seven border guards are said to have been wounded.

A Ukrainian military aircraft has been despatched to support the post.
