German waiter smashes beer-carrying record

A German waiter has broken a world record by carrying 27 full mugs of Bavarian beer.

Oliver Struempfel works at the Gillemoos festival in the town of Abensberg and took on the beer-carrying challenge after months of training.

He went up against just one competitor to carry as many full one-litre mugs as possible for a distance of 40m (131ft).

Tim Allman reports.
