Huge fire destroys Belgian church in Anzegem

A church in the centre of the West Flanders town Anzegem, in Belgium, has been hit by a huge fire.

The local fire service tried to contain the blaze at the St John the Baptist church but later confirmed that the building had been lost.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
