Paris big cat mystery: Paw prints 'not made by a tiger'

Wildlife experts in France say they have ruled out the possibility that an animal they have been hunting near Paris is a tiger.

Around 200 police and military officers have been involved in the search.

The feline was seen crossing a motorway on Friday, and paw prints were reported at a service station.

Analysis has since revealed the prints were probably made by a different type of large cat.

Hugh Schofield reports from Paris.
