Greek vigil for return of Elgin marbles

Hundreds of people have held a candlelit vigil outside the Acropolis Museum in Athens to call for the return of the Parthenon Marbles.

The marble statues, also known as the Elgin Marbles, originally formed part of the facade of the Parthenon. They have been held in London's British Museum since 1816.

Greece has long fought for their return.
