Cartoonist: 'Likely I was Copenhagen gunman's target'

Cartoonist Lars Vilks, who was attending a debate on free speech in a cafe in Denmark when a gunman opened fire, says he that was probably the target of the attack.

A film director was killed in the attack.

Mr Vilks, who is Swedish, is renowned for his controversial cartoons that have caused deep offence to followers of Islam.

Speaking to BBC News, he said that he was now receiving round-the-clock security protection.
