Plane crash: 'I was due on Germanwings flight'

A man who was due to be on Tuesday's Germanwings flight which crashed in the French Alps has spoken of his "mixed emotions" at missing the flight.

David Cabanes changed his plans at short notice and flew on Monday morning instead. He told BBC News that his flight had been full of children and tourists.

The plane, flight 4U 9525, had been en route from Barcelona to Duesseldorf with 144 passengers and six crew on board when it came down between Barcelonnette and Digne.
