Turkey: Funeral held for shot prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz

A funeral has been held in Istanbul for Mehmet Selim Kiraz, who had been investigating a politically-sensitive case of a teenager who died of injuries inflicted by police during anti-government protests in 2013.

Mehmet and two gunmen who took him hostage were killed in a shootout with security forces on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and ex-President Abdullah Gul were among the mourners.
