Mediterranean migrants crisis: Lampedusa 'under pressure'

Italian coastguards have rescued hundreds more migrants trying to get to Europe from North Africa.

The migrants, who had been at sea for a week, were brought ashore on the island of Sicily in the south of the country.

The EU is panning an emergency summit to address the issue amid calls for northern European countries to do more to help.

Richard Bilton reports from the small Italian island of Lampedusa, which is the closest part of the country to North Africa.
