France's Le Pen suspended from Front National party by daughter

The founder of France's far-right National Front party, Jean-Marie le Pen, has been suspended from the party, by his own daughter.

It is because of his claim that the Holocaust was "a detail of history".

Mr Le Pen called the suspension a betrayal and a criminal act, and he also urged his daughter Marine to get married so she would no longer carry his name.

Hugh Schofield reports.
