Thousands of people turned out for one of the biggest Liberation Day events to date in Jersey.

Starting in Liberation Square with a re-enactment of the moments the island was liberated from Nazi forces.

The event then moved to People's Park, St Helier - the location of the first Liberation Day celebrations in 1946.
